air dryer without a boom arm

looking to add air dyers in my bay. Problem is mounting a boom will interfere with the other hoses and booms when rotating. Thinking of running a 2 inch pvc pipe from the top down to the middle of one side of the bay and connecting a vac hose and letting the customers use it that way. Has anyone does this before?

It will not work. Also i don't have a good secure mounting support for a boom in the center of the bay. I saw someone post this on their page. Exactly what i was thinking of doing. My ceiling is 16ft so i feel there wont be much problem crossing the hose on the other side of the car.

What are your thoughts on this set up?

I guess it will reach around the car if you make the hose long enough, but without a boom, customers will not have the control to keep the hose from dragging over parts of their car which might make it less desirable to use. At the very least, it will be awkward for them to try to support the hose with one hand so it doesn’t drag on the car while they dry with the other.
