Airlift electric motor removal

I have a Airlift door motor that stopped working. I replaced another motor over the winter and struggled with it the whole time. Is there a way to more easily access the bolts that hold the motor to the gearbox? The 2 bolts on the side closer to the door nearly impossible to turn.
I know I can probably remove the entire motor and gearbox assembly but the shaft is probably seized in the gearbox. I couldn’t remove the keyway.

to answer my own question, the gearbox is keyed so you only have to loosen the bolts and rotate the motor a few degrees to remove.

I'd take the gearbox off now, it could be difficult but you're gonna have to sooner or later.
If it is stuck a gear puller will get it off. Then clean up the shaft and gearbox bore with a fine emory cloth and load it up with plenty of anti seize when you put the gearbox back on.
It will be much easier to remove next time and, who knows next time the weather could be much worse and you will be glad you made it easier to remove.
