You’d be amazed at the number of car washes I’ve been in that don’t have any kind of alarm system. Contact your local alarm system installer. We have everything alarmed with a wireless system, ACW’s have vibration and drill sensors on them, any equipment that has money in it is alarmed. The equipment room and the attic are also alarmed with motion sensors. The system sends a text when to door is opened and who turned the alarm system off. So we know who the employee was who just turned Off the alarm or who turned On the alarm.

We are using a DMP xt50 with network, cell, and dialer options. If you activate the cell option, you will incur an additional monthly cost. The network side is capable of SMTP messaging, but our is giving us fits right now. Also, it does not support TLS.

We have motion, drill/vibration, open/close, and other sensors all tied to that panel. It supports multiple zones, and you can daisy multiple sensors to single zones. There are also four configurable output pins that you could tie into an automation controller if you were handy with techy things.

You can find this panel used on many websites, but the problem will be getting monitoring. Most companies will not offer a monitoring contract unless they installed the product, or you have paid an inspection fee to verify that the product is working correctly.

Hope this helps!

I don't know about monitoring, I live 22 miles from one location and would hate to go there at 3 in the morning. I would hate to go anywhere at 3 in the morning come to think about it.
