American Changer "out of service" light

I have several American changers with Universal hoppers and Coinco validators. I am installing remote monitoring equipment and want to tie it into the changers. Hooking into the out of service light is no problem, however it only lights when there is a hopper issue. If the Coinco validator goes down it does not turn on the out of service light. Is there something that can be done to make the out of service light come on with BOTH a hopper or a validator issue?

I assume there's a relay circuit in the validator you could use as a secondary out-of-service signal.
