I decided to re-dedicate myself to hosting a series of community events each year at my detail shop. I had done quite a few in years past, but I got sidetracked by building a carwash, new home, detail shop, having a couple kids, etc.
Well, now that I'm all moved into the new shop, and it's nice, bright and welcoming, I decided it is now time to begin anew my 'community programs' endeavor at the carwash/detail shop.
So, on Saturday, March 14th at 10am, House of Wax will host a 'Self Defense for Women' class. This topic/class has been a huge success in years past. I posted it up on our website and made flyers to put in detail shop cars and post at local businesses.
I'm going to really promote this event like crazy in the next month and try for a record # of attendees. I offer lunch (for free) and I know some people only come for the free food, but that's serving the community, too!
