I bought this used triple foam unit from a guy online and I am going through cleaning it up and replumbing it into my 6 bay wash. I though it was crazy that it was originally equipped for 10 bays. Anyway the guy I bought it from who was just some scrapper dude and not a car wash operator called this 3rd solenoid manifold on the left side of the picture a antifreeze system. I dont know how exactly it works and would it be worth setting up?
My other Southern Pride triple foam unit at my first location does not have this additional equipment so I just tee'd the product into the weepmizer with a check valve. It seems like that is a much simpler way of keeping these lines from freezing.
Anyone have experience on how this was originally intended to work?
