Anti Freeze Foam Brush, Red leftovers...

Folks,

Weep season is over and I have a 30 gallon drum of anti freeze foam brush(red dye) not white. I am thinking of running it down as the cost is the same essentially for regular foam brush soap.

Does using this have any adverse effects on washes during the warm months i.e. staining? Sorry never did this before, and looking for experience...: ).

No harm in using it. I have a bunch left over so I am just saving it until the winter, but I have just used it up in the past.

Does it have methanol mixed in? Can you explain how you get the cost to be the same?
I have a 55 drum left from this past winter, I'm storing it until next winter because it is a lot more expensive.

Your question about the staining, I think thats actually a good question. I dont think it would make a difference, but I suppose the methanol could make it dry faster especially on hot cars. That could conceivably result in perceived staining, but I dont think it would really cause a problem.

I save as well. Unless I only have like 5 or less gallons left in the drum, then I use it up. Also double what Robert said, make sure you put the cap back on and screw it down, the methanol WILL evaporate.
