Anti Stringing software upgrade

Any experience with this? Just had some installed and they asked me what I wanted it set for. I chose 5 minutes which they said was a popular choice. Apparently it can be programmed for 1-15 minutes.

The XE validator version 3.55 anti-stringing software shuts down the validator for a preset amount of time from accepting any bills when it detects a stringing attempt. The software also allows to operator in the field to adjust the side scan sensitivity of the validator and to adjust the shutdown timer with Training coupons, be sure to get the Training coupons when you get the v3.55 software. You can go as high as 30 minutes on the inhibit shutdown timer. I normally set the inhibit shutdown timer at 2 minutes and the side scan sensitivity at 2. I have not heard of anyone being strung since installing the v3.55 software.
