Anti Stringing Software

Recently had a Hamilton XE Validator in for service. Was rejecting too many bills. So along with some neccessary part replacement they upgraded the software with some anti stringing software. They asked what it should be set for. Apparently it can be programmed from 1-15 minutes before it shuts down.

I chose 5 minutes because they said that was a popular choice.

So, any experience or preferences with this upgrade? .
