Recently talked to an owner of a four year old machine that is not a happy camper. Trying to get a feel for how the company is treating its customers, and maybe the other side of the story. What have been your dealings with them?

Be more specific. What are the problems with the machine? Why is the user unhappy?

Otherwise, you are not educating us on a particular type of equipment.

This owner said the machine is about 4 years old. It has never worked right since it was installed. Aparently the salesman and installer didn't know what they were doing. The owner states the factory will not do anything to correct this. Sounds like lawyers are involved at this point.

I have had 3 oasis monsoons and the people at the factory had very good support. The first one I had put in buy some one that knew nothing about the machine and made a mess of the total install. I had to learn how to correct the problems because once they got there money they would not return my calls . The next 2 I installed my self and there were some issues with the machines but they were always helpful and anytime a machine is new or has a major change there are always some bugs that have to be worked out. The only reason I have changed brands of equipment was they set up a distributor that put some of the same equipment beside me and I thought it was a time for a change. I bought a couple of Hydrosprays and I have been for the most part happy with them, but the previous owner [ Ernie] treated me like a cheap hooker and screwed me and many many many others untill we just couldn't take it any more. Now I own a Washworld razor and yes its had some issues but these people must be double jointed because they have bent over backwards to please and this is really nice to know there is service after the sale. If I had not had the other Oasis units put all around me I would still be a one brand owner I think they build good equipment and they offered good service but if you depend on a distributor for service I would do my home work, man a bad one can put a bad taste in your mouth and it never goes away.

My XP is 10 months old. Opened in May '10. Installed poorly and didnt wash worth a darn for 8 months. I begged, I yelled, I begged some more and finnally they sent up a guy from the next state over to fix it as my distributer they hired gave up on it.

After 5 hours this expierienced guy had it running smooth and washing very well. I have had a few other issues since but all in all its working well.

The key will be having someone expierienced with this. The distributer they hired in order to sign me is also the areas wash world distributer and he only wants to work on wash world, says its so simple compaired to oasis.

first 8 months was HELL. It gave my wash a bad rep in town and i have been working hard to get customers to try it again...even ran a free wash week to get people over.

first 8 months i only washed 1100 cars TOTAL due to bad word of mouth and a terrible wash the xp was putting out.

I am now getting it to around 1000 a month, with lots of room to grow.

I still find myself praying it wont break down as my guy cant be counted on.

Never again! An expierienced rep / distributer in my town or no deal.

I hope to have this for at least 7 years....its going to be a long road!

Jerry at oasis is very helpful when i call for help...but there is only so much you can do over the phone.

This is kind of what I'm seeing in Florida. The machine does a nice job cleaning, but the factory seems to make almost anyone a distributor. Gee, bet you never heard that one before. At least getting this information put on the web here may save someone some headache$.
