If you do, I just finished a project that you might be interested in. If you worry about power outages, this is the ticket....It is Auto-Switching and auto charges when power is restored. Batteries are 6v 242ah batteries for a capacity of 484ah @ 12v...This setup doesn't break the bank and gives me about 7 hours run time on my furnace down to about 50% capacity left in the batteries. I've heated my home with a wood furnace for over 20 years and have always been concerned with a power outage after going to work. Not any more! This thing is sweet! I ran it on backup for 4 hours today. The batteries only dropped .1v in 4 hours and never even got warm to the touch.

My supplemental heat is a traditional wood stove, I burn 1-5 cords/year depending on the weather and my work schedule. All chainsawed and hand split. (Primary heat is geothermal.) So that setup wouldnt work for me, but yeah thats a really nice setup, peace of mind & happy wife. Nice work.
I gotta ask - did you clean up before taking the photo? LOL, my work areas are never that neat & clean!

Yea, How could you tell! I did sweep up a bit before snapping the pics! BTW, a system like this could power your Geothermal. Maybe not the electric backup side of it. But it would work, It would just have to be sized right. They make some pretty big inverters! But it would get pricey!
