I need to replace my ingersol rand Aro air pump. I remember reading that someone had much better luck with a another brand. I could not find it in search however. It is for my tire and wheel cleaner. Any recommendations welcomed.

People used to have good luck with the Flojets, but there have been some complaints about their quality. Nevertheless, comparing cost vs. function and reliability they're still the best deal out there.

I still haven't seen any problem with them, and they've been lasting not less than three years with constant pressure on them.

The Flojet G57 is a good pump but if you want longevity use a Procon 2507 pump controlled with IDX MX-8 controller controlling the motor. I?ve had one installed on my Tire Cleaner/Presoak for 15 years and have never touched it. It puts out 175 psi. The only G57 Flojets we have are on the Foam brush system.

Earlier today I ordered a Flojet Viton Pump KR part #FP7020. I hope it is the correct one. It looks as though it can handle corrosives.
