I have installed the ASCO redhead on my LW4000 pump stand. All seems good. Yesterday I noticed one of the bolts that hold the valve housing together worked its way loose due to the pump stand vibrating. I did have to disassemble the valve to install it. Needless to say I added a bit of the blue, that is removable, loctite to the bolt and put a 1/4" nut on the bottom side of the housing. Snugged everything very firmly down. Have you ever had this issue? Do you think my preventative measures will do the job and won't create any adverse effects? Thanks!

If you didn't check the bolts before you installed .. One may have been loose from factory, or the threads were tapped wide.. It should be fine now.

I did have to disassemble it for installation. Do you think the blue loctite will affect my ability to modify is later on?

No, you should be able to break it loose. Easier than a rusted or siezed bolt. The loctite actually seals the threads to prevent corrosion.
