I'm going to be putting in a new machine and will probably go with an Autec. Has anyone ever seen our used microfiber material for the mitter on an Autec? I'm not a fan of traditional cloth for mitters and my tunnel mitters are all microfiber. I'm not sure if this has been done on an IBA machine and if there are any issues using microfiber on an IBA. I visited a bunch of Autec installations and everyone had good things to say, but nobody had tried using another mitter material.

Any thoughts or first hand experience would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Hey Washnshine! Did you end up putting an Autec in? What did you find out about the mitter cloth?

Why any one would put in a machine as an in bay auto with a mitter is beyond me. They simply do not clean. The machine is super heavy and wears out the wheels and track faster than any other unit. And it was designed when Carter was president. Other than that, it's a wonderful machine.
