Awesome O2 sensor install

Had a welding shop install flex pipes on my daughter's Volvo. They did a nice job with the flex pipes and a short section of new exhaust. They forgot to install the skid plate so After I put on new front brakes yesterday I decided to install the skid plate.

It was then I noticed how they "installed" the rear O2 sensors!,!?!-:;()&&@

The shop said they do 60-70 cars per year this way. They said "It’s to trick the computer into thinking it’s doing it’s job '
and "They are reading clean air only and the check engine light should stay off for that reason ".
