Backup Pump Recommendations

Hello!

I have an LW4000 with SFR delivery pump and a GinSan Water Lovers RO system with a 5 bay SS delivery pump. I believe, both pump motors are the same(I attached pics). If I am wrong, please let me know : ). Single Phase, 2 HP.

Anyway, I'd like to have a back up pump/motor assembly on hand, and was wondering if anyone could share a link with me as to a suitable and reliable replacement, I'd appreciate it greatly(that is if they are, in fact, the same pump spec-wise). Sta-Rite, Berkeley etc.

Thanks a ton!

1 phase 208/230 volt 2 HP is correct but this is called a motor not a pump there's a difference. Your wanting a spare electrical motor on hand correct not pump ? I had to read your post twice myself to understand. The picture looked like specs to me for a electrical motor any good local motor repair shop should be able to get you a spare motor in your area or have a rebuilt one on hand or a local HVAC supply house will have one. also go ahead and get a extra set of pulleys so you don't have to fight the battle incase it's on a weekend. Good Luck.

DUH! Sorry. It is the motor to the centrifugal pump. I'd like a replacement assembly for the whole motor/pump assembly. Sooo sorry!

Thoughts?

As far as I can tell, the motors are the same except one is 115/230V and the other is 230 only. If you're running them both at the same voltage, you can definitely keep one backup for either, and even if they're not you should be able to reconfigure the one that runs 115V to run 230V.

I've never shopped pumps on eBay but I've found very good deals on new brand-name motors, usually with free shipping.
