Anyone have a good model number for a in-bay thermostat. I had one last 7 years but there is no label on it. In the other bay, I replaced it with a Dayton that I bought at Grainger and they have failed three times in two years even though it is rated for outdoor use. The good one had a clear plastic flip down cover on it. It came with the original installation on my Ultimate bay heater.

Bay Heater Thermostat

Does the thermostat control stay in the bay on this unit, or just the temperature probe? Maybe that's part of my problem. The thermostat control is located in the bay and get's a bunch of water and chemical.
I agree with Soapy. Use the A419. I mount the control box in the equipment room, and run the probe out to the bay. This keeps the control box dry and working. I have 6 of these units. I do keep a spare probe though, as I have had one fail. Spare probe was about $15 from plccenter.com.
