Hi, can anyone help me? I have a coin operated car wash and on manual it works just fine but when I switch to automatic and put money in on high-pressure functions, it runs for 10 seconds and then shuts off.
All low pressure functions work just fine

When you say it works on manual are you referring to a switch that you turn On to put power to the coil for the motor starter? If it is when you put money into the coin then you have a problem with the motor starter wiring somewhere between the coin ox and the pumping equipment. Check the wiring in the coin box first and work your way back to the equipment room.

Thank you for your reply Randy. I arrived at the site the next morning and tested and everything seem to be working fine. Last night was a very hot and humid night and I don’t know if that had anything to do with the car wash acting up. Also I failed to mention when the time ran for 10 seconds the IDX would say out of service and then shut it off. Also, the IDX timer, read out of service even on manual mode. I don’t know if this is just heat issue but will keep an eye on it.

Check the coin acceptor connection. Red/Green wire on timer it has a built-in coin switch short. If you remove the coin acceptor,, bill validator and any thing else connect to the coin wire at the timer it should start to scroll again the welcome message and coins to start.
