I'm considering having a tarp company make me 18-22 oz. vinyl tarps for our self serve bays to shut the bays in inclimate weather. We currently just use cheap tarp from the hardware store. These cheap tarps last about two years.
My question is what has worked well for some of you other members? How do you secure the tarp so that it doesn't blow around in the wind? With the cheap tarps, we have just ran a 1x4 down each side of the tarp securing one side of the tarp to the bay permanently and then using a hook on the other side.
