Sonny’s acquired the i5 (I forget from whom) in a failed attempt to penetrate the in-bay market. It then sold it to Oasis.
Given the shift from touch-less to friction, I suspect Oasis bought it to expand customer base, stay relevant in marketplace and save R&D expense (it had no friction product).
I rate the i5 no better or worse than any other 5-touch roll-over system (i.e. Ryko, Broadway, etc.)
Advantage of 5-touch roll-over is obtaining the wash quality of a mini-tunnel at lower operating expense (chemical, water, electric) as compared to most touch-less in-bay.
