Hello,

I'm brand new to the carwash industry and trying to get some opinions on the most ideal in-bay friction system for 2 bays that measure 30 x 14 x 10.

Any advice or inputs would be appreciated. Thanks

Well good luck with that. You have two serious issues, and a third not quite so. The bays are too shout and the ceilings are too low. The width will make it harder to install and service. Are these currently car wash bays? Istobal has a friction unit, the M1 that might fit. And it will out clean most any other machine. If you are looking at putting in one or two automatics, you should also look at making the bays bigger. One of the worst mistakes you can make is putting in a machine that won't wash as it was designed.

Dimensions given are suitable for machines that are obsolete.

Most in-bays require 16’ width, 12’ height.

Law firms and insurance agencies would find installation in smaller bays substandard.

So, don’t start off on the wrong foot.

I put a 4000 in my
27*14*10
Washing full sized trucks
Removed the brace for the upper swivel and mounted it to rafters
Moved the rear and home flags out further
And the loading eyes to accommodate longer trucks
Have a 7.2" clearance
