I have an automatic bay that's the second bay from the equipment room. The current automatic is fed up to an hvac style trough on the roof. It's insulated and has a glycol loop for heat but is in poor condition. I am trying to decide whether to enclose all the low pressure lines etc in a 4 or 6 inch pvc pipe and run the glycol through that and locate the manifold on the bridge of the machine or locate the manifold in the equipment room and have a longer purge time etc. The installer prefers the equipment room because of easier and possibly less future maintenance and easier install now. He's nervous about running the high pressure with the low pressure in a 4 inch pipe without supports because of vibrations etc. I was thinking of strapping the 2 stainless high pressure lines to a 2x4 and sliding it in the 4 inch pvc. Thoughts appreciated and insults tolerated.
