I am about to build a weep water reclaim system. My spray wand gun holders are all piped to a pit in my pump room so the majority of the system already exists. I was thinking of using a procon pump to pump water from the pit to feed 2 selfserve bays. Of course I will need some filters and level control sensors to ensure the pit has water in it. If the pit is empty the normal weep system will run until the pit has enough water in it to continue useing the pump. Is the procon pump good for this application? I have never used a procon pump before. I can get a procon pump setup very cheap at a local surplus store along with several other types of pumps if another type would be better. The goal here is to use the least amperage possible.

Uh, let's think about this. How big is your pit? I think that most of the time when your lines are weeping that you will not be using water nearly fast enough to keep the pit from overfilling or draining as it currently does. I can tell you that 2 SS's would not come close to using even 1/2 of all the water I weep in the winter months, especially since people don't use my SS's as much when it is cold.
