Im looking to add some cameras inside my IBAs and was looking to get some input on whats good and bad. I have been in contact with carwashcameras.com and they are recomending a dome camera with very high resolution, veri focal, and is submersible at a very resonable price. Also camera placement in bay. I would think the exit side would be best. Sugestions?

I have the carwashcameras.com cameras in my wash. Their service is excellant. I have the defender dome in my automatic bay. It has an excellant picture. The only problem is water getting on the dome and distorting the picture sometimes, but you are going to have that with any camera. I always talk to a real person when I call not some machine.

i have 6 cameras just for IBA. 2 at paystation. 2 inside bay diagonal to each other. 2 on each side of exit .

Android compatible...watch on my samsung epic using opera browser.

I would seriously consider looking at Geo Vision I have installed six of there systems now and I can't seem to find a better system out there for the money, at one site we decided to go with Axis cameras and a high end ip video recording software called Video Next.. this was a mistake, the system is complicated and very expensive, it works good but I can do the same thing with Geo Vision for half the cost. The last install I did went back with Geo Vision and used there 1.3MP Box cams and some of there 3MP box cams we went total IP and very pleased with the results. When you start to get several ip cameras on a network you must be sure to have the infrastructure to support them, I installed a V1900 series HP POE switch on site and it also served as the power supply to all the ip cams, another thing to remember is that for every 4 ip cams you need to dedicate a hard drive so a 16 camera system we installed a server with 5 HD @ 2TB each for video storage and I always dedicate one drive just for the OS.
As for your question on where to mount in your IBA, I always try to have them mounted so the sun at there back if possible unless you can keep direct sun from being in the scene, this is only a problem when have a dark area of a bay and then the bright sun through the entrance of the bay.
Good luck:)

I should of noted that with the box cameras we had to buy an outdoor enclosure for them at an extra 125 each it does start to add up, but these leave make an imposing statement and so far has seemed to work out well. The domes I like they are quick and easy, but I the video is better with the box cam and the enclosure is heated and has a fan as well.

If you need more detail I can provide.
