Mine have been a real stress saver. In just the last 3 days they allowed me to catch 3 guys going stupid. Friday a traveling equine dentist spent 30 minutes blowing a ton of grease off his portable squeeze cute. I don't know why there would be grease on that but there was and the next 6 customers got grease on their hands, and probably their clothes and car interior too. I spent 2 hours cleaning grease off the apron and I'm still not finished. My cameras got his logo and lo and behold a siomple google search turned up that same pickup in his yellow pages ad ( http://www.directory-assistance.net...nary-Services/Levelland-TEXAS/1642963248.html ). The guy will receive his invoice for $250 today.

Saturday a local Sonic employee leaves his box of trash in the corner of the bay. Not a biggie, but annoying. Today I'll get put a pic under his windshield wiper of him setting the box down. I'm sure he'll get the point...and I'll probably get spit on my tater tots for awhile.

Sunday morning some goober lets down his tailgate, carries a tranny to the back, stops to read my read sign that says "No Greasy Parts - If They Aren't Under Your Hood, Don't Clean Them Here - $250 Fine," then proceeds to blast grease everywhere. I caught him at a local c-store last night, handed him a pick up him, politely reminded him of the rules about grease...the guy couldn't apologize fast enough.

If you don't have cameras, get them!

Thats great! I need to get in on this eye spy stuff, how about some advise on what set up to buy or what brand to purchase and how much should I pay for a 4 SS & 2 Automatics camera set up.
Thanks

Red Baron,

I'm also a true believe in cameras. I swung into my wash site on Sunday afternoon and there in one of the SS bays was this guy letting his kid hose down his pickup. I noticed the tailgate was down (always a bad sign) and then I noticed 2 big boxes of junk stacked in the back corner of the wash bay. He saw me look at them and look at him and I walked on into the equipment room. As I watched on the camera monitor, he picked up the two boxes, carried them to the front corner of the bay and dropped them off, jumped in his truck, fired it up and waited for his son to finish.
I walked back out and said "are you going to leave those boxes here?" to which he replied, "oh they werent mine, they were here when we pulled in."
I pointed up to the camera and said, "yeah I was just getting ready to play back the DVR and see who it was that dumped them here so I could call the cops." He quickly said, "oh if you'd like I can take them home and burn them for you." I told him that would be much appreciated and he loaded the boxes and left.
Without the camera system, I had no leg to stand on.
ps. I also have the system from Allan Spears. They are great to deal with.

What? Are you saying that some of your customers would be less than 100% truthful to you? I find that hard to believe; every one of mine are model citizens and a pure joy to have at my business. I may be a few days late with this post...
