Car Wash Insurance

Can you help us? We have been looking for a insurance company that will insure our carwash. The problem that we are having is that we live in the building that our carwash is in. We have already tried the insure center in Joplin Missouri and The Hartford...no go for either of these.

What was their reason for refusing coverage?

I live at my car wash too....yet I still pay a mortgage for a house

No reason was given they just said that the underwriters refused it.

What type of note do you have?

Is it a commercial note or a residential note?

A buddy of mine owns a year-round campground that he has a residential note for since it was assessed as a residential property.

Call an independent insurance agent. That is his job to find the best and less exspensive insurance for you. My kids race Karts around the country and no one would cover these $8000.00 dollar karts for theft alone, being that they are use for racing. I switched insurance companies to a indepenent company, and they were able to get the theft coverage i wanted, and saved me a handful at the wash and auto repair.

You might need to insure the car wash and the residence separately.
