Car washes up north

Just got back from a little trip to northern Wisconsin, and being in this business, I like to just look around and see how things are compared to south Florida. It's been a long, long time since I lived up there I've forgotten how different it is. Was just seeing self serves and some inbay automatics. I know you people up there have to use doors because of the temps, but gadzooks, do they ever make a business look line it's closed. I did see a double auto setup in a clear glass building at a large gas station on the interstate, and it was almost as bad. What started out as a clear glass structure became something that looked worse than one with doors. Grime and stains all over the inside. Wish I had some suggestions for this, more just a general observation.

What makes it worse is that many washes keep their doors open all seasons except winter and then close them. Then customers think that is all of a sudden closed.

Glass buildings are high maintenance and a need RO water rinse down system on the inside plus cleaned inside and out weekly. I think they can look attractive but most are not maintained properly.

Yep...my doors are open 24/7 except when the thermostat setting closes do to cold temp....bay heat kicks on sligjfolder temp.

Doesn’t make sense to close doors in warmer weather....I have huge signage on doors indicating wash is open
