This lady had to have been fired from a travelling carnival as they passed through town.

This morning we'd just finished sealcoating our main asphalt drive way with asphalt sealer. I looked out of the ER to see a car parked at the ACW. I walked out in a panic because I knew the only way for her to get there was to drive through 110' of wet asphalt sealer...which is exactly what she did, after getting out of her car to move one of the orange cones out of the way.

She'd tracked wet asphalt sealer onto the concrete and I was quickly throwing buckets of water on it (water-based) to keep it wet so I could broom it off before it set. The dingbat had trouble with the ACW so she drives to a SS bay, tracking asphalt all the way.

I was too busy getting more water to ask her just what orange cones mean to her.

I finished that task then walked to the ACW to see why she gave up on an IBA wash. The coin return cup was half full of pennies and nickels that she tried to pay with...I guess she thought if she just kept sticking them in, eventually they'de work!!! At that point I just felt sorry for her...and asked her if she needed 4 new hubcaps (ok, I made the hubcaps part up).

They walk/drive among us.

About 30 years ago, the wash I was manageing was shutdown for installation of a new conveyor. We had big signs made that we put at the entrance and we had cones everywhere to prevent anyone from getting to the wash. We were still open to sell gas. The old conveyor was completely removed and we were in the tunnel prepping for the new conveyor when all of a sudden I hear a horn blowing right at the tunnel entrance. When I go out there, I find a car has driven right into the empty conveyor trench. Its a little old lady and she rolls down her window and asks me "can I still get a wash today". Her car is resting on its frame with the left front tire dangling in the take-up box. There were two or three cones in there also. She had just plowed her way through all the obstructions to get to the wash. After the tow company extricated her car, she asked me again if we were going to wash her car today.:);)

I helped someone take down an old, empty ACW cabinet from in front of a bay that had no machine in it for at least 10 years. When we got into it to unbolt it from the stand, we found about $600 in quarters inside. The cashier had no pricing labels on it of any kind, and the bay was stacked full of empty plastic drums I just can't imagine what people were thinking when they pulled up and put money in it.

I would've taken her money and danced around her 'turtled' car with the wash brush while waiting for the tow company. That's how much I like$ me money!
