Hello all. I have a wash recently purchased and lots of little leaks, few unloaders not working, just a lot of misc little things including mismatched fittings over the years etc. Looking to strip the pumps and basically clean it all up with new fittings, hoses, gauges, unloaders etc so its fresh and all the same. Ive looked at many pictures and other car washes in our area it seems like the plumbing is somewhat different on several. Ive seen unloaders on left or right, Ive seen the water line loop like mine is in pics and Ive seen people not have that loop at all, Ive also seen the smaller inlet line for soap/wax on different ports, The wash work "OK" bit soap sometimes isn't drawing great, do get periodic pulsating pressure and again its just all pretty old. Id love to hear some comments on how to clean this up. Getting confused and just want to set the 310's up the way they should be with less parts/fittings and work.

This is how we do our pumping systems. We feed the pumps with reduced city water pressure to make the pumps draw in chemical. The only tanks we have are small chemical tanks. This system is 42 years old, I just keep repairing it.

There are many ways to correctly plumb a 310, so if your system has been working for this many years, it probably only needs repairs and tuning, not a whole re-plumb. 2 bottom ports are intake, and 2 top ports are HP discharge, left and right doesn't matter.

Well technically it's working but not very aesthetic. I would consider looping the regulator bypass line to the opposite side. If built correctly all you have to do is undo a weep line, a discharge and inlet hose and the whole head assembly with all hardware will come off as one piece. Here’s a pic of a Carolina pride stand image.jpg
