I had a plugged inlet screen in the feed tank of my IBA.

I drained tank and cleaned it out, and cleaned in-tank wire mesh filter.

Pump comes up to pressure but every few cycles it doesn't, like it's starved.

Question: Is there an inlet screen on pump inlet that maybe got clogged, too???

Thanks

There’s a good possibility that you may have damaged the pump. No I don’t believe there is a screen or strainer in the pump, never seen one with a screen or strainer. I’d try disconnecting the hose from the pump and see how much flow you have to the pump. Also look for any checks valves in the line from the Feed tank to the pump. I drain and clean my tanks every 6 month whether they need it or not.

It seems ok now after testing a few cars in a row.

I did notice the pressure lower than normal on my HP wax pass, but I fiddled around, changed a chiclet relay for WAX 2 on plc output card and it seems normal now.

Not sure...
