I have a cat 5353 pump that has the glass oiler bottles on top of the pump to oil the pistons. What type of oil do I fill these with?

Cat oil if the pump is under warranty (which I assume it isn't since the 3535 hasn't had the oilers in probably 30 years) - a cheaper alternative is ISO 68 hydraulic fluid, or just ND30 WT oil.

You can even use a 30 weight non-detergent oil too. All your doing is keeping the wicks oiled but don't use anything but cat oil in the crankcase.
