We want to thank all our long time customers and the many new people who came by our booth at the CCWE show in Las Vegas to see us. We appreciate their time spent with us to catch up on the past year and show them the latest innovations in our merchandiser line. As usual we learned how our merchandisers are operating in the real world and received some suggestions and ideas on how to improve our product line. We are always ready to receive these ideas so we can make our products more “user friendly” and reflect the needs of our customers.

We had the opportunity to meet many of our customers for the first time and to solve some questions and problems they were unsure how to fix. We solved them as best we could at the show or made arrangements to help them later with a phone call. If all the sales leads we received at the show come to a successful conclusion, we will have had a very good show. We will know how it turns out in a month or so.

This was the first showing of our new freestanding VendPro-18 selection merchandiser to the industry. Many were intrigued with the small size of this merchandiser and the security of the design. This is the second merchandiser we have designed for the car wash industry by focusing on the security structure first and then adding the necessary vending equipment inside to make it work. This allows the merchandiser to be installed anywhere on the wash site (preferably in the vacuum area) to vend the top selling car wash products to the customer for high impulse sales and without worrying about theft or vandalism. The VendPro-18 is priced very reasonably and can achieve a very respectable pay-back period.

Even though the show managers claimed there were approximately 5500 attendees (including exhibitors) and went out of their way to qualify everyone who attended as a buyer or decision maker, the number of operators who attended was not large enough to make us comfortable with the show attendance. There needs to be many more operators attending and many more Expo show passes available to exhibitors so they can get their customers and potential customers to come see the new products. ShurVend, as an exhibitor, would like more eyeballs coming by our booth so we have a chance to show old and new operators the new innovations that are happening each and every day.
