Ceiling boom leak

I have a leak coming from this little block. It is above the ceiling boom in wash bay

I’m having a hard time finding what exactly this is. Would any of you know what this little block is and how I could find one to replace it?

Thank you Sandra.

It looks like it's 3/8", I think I'd just use a 3/8" brass Tee.

Ok would I need to change out those other fittings as well or at least check them to be sure something there isn’t messed up also?

And I would like to extend my sincerest thanks to this community. Y’all have been so helpful. You have no idea just how helpful. If I get stumped this is the place I go for real answers.

Carwash Forum is the best!!!

Thank you Sandra.

Consider using a stainless instead of brass cross. Some car wash chemicals slowly eat away at the brass over time.

Also....there are low and high pressure ones.. The low pressure ones are good for around 100psi or so. The higher pressure ones are good for over 1000psi.

Around 50 bucks at McMaster Carr for a good one.

The brass/SS issue is MUCH more of a problem in the equipment room vs. in the bay, or on the roof.

I run a 2 step process in my touchless automatics. The step 1 presoak has HF. Step 2 has Sodium Hydroxide. The undiluted soaps eventually eat up the brass. I even replace the brass ball valves with stainless as they leak and need to be replaced.

Ain't worth my time to save $15 on a valve or fitting......
