Changer spits out Quarters

Had some torrential rains.

One of my 3 Hamilton Changers has now decided to spit out an intermittent quarter.

I figured I'd turn it off and let it dry out for a couple of days.

Any ideas?

Bill Acceptor?

Controller?

Something else got wet?

With what little information you have provided my guess would have to be a "Controller" issue

I guess more importantly is it a moisture issue and will drying time likely solve it?

Did you get a lot of water inside the changer or in the validator? Does it just drop a coin from the Hopper every now and then for no reason?

Hard to say for sure if there was a lot of water in the Changer. Storms were Sunday. Monday it was 90 degrees so it could have dried out.
Got a call from attendant today that when he was in the equipment room he head it spit out one or 2 quarters and stop then do it again. He pulled about $3.75 from the Cup. Not quite sure how long it was going on yet.

Sent my son there who said he re set it, turned it on and off and it seemed fine. Told him to leave it off till thurs. Typical changer fill and audit day, and while he is spending time there leave it on and see what happens.
