Looking to clean the guts of my 10 year old Con-Serv reclaim unit and all hoses, copper pipes and reclaim tanks going to SS pump stations and my Mark VII GT 300.

I plan on all replacing ALL 1 inch braided hoses, still wondering what I should use to let the Con-Serv unit soak in overnight.

Maybe vinegar or industrial strength hydrogen peroxide.

Any input would be appreciated.

Thank you,

Braided lines are meant to provide flexibility and strong end connection to prevent leaks or sucking air into system.

If lines are still flexible and no leaks, why replace.

As for flushing system clean, I might not do that either.

Contamination is captured in basket filter, hydro-cyclone and filter media.

Basket is lift and dump. Cyclones are sealed and not meant for cleaning. Filter media change out.

So, I’m not sure what cleaning system out would accomplish.

As soon as you start processing dirty water again, the same amount of silt will build back up on the interior surfaces of passage ways.
