Coin acceptor issue

having an issue with the coin acceptor, I’ve set the tokens it accepts to read 6 pulses per token. This requires 5 tokens for the car wash to initiate the wash, (30 pulses) however it initiates the worst wash option (without the undercarriage wash and the dryer). When I change the pulse /token to 32 pulses (no indicator lights lit on #of pulse/s) then the wash works using the undercarriage and dryer but now only 1 token accepted initiates the wash ( where I can want to use 5). Someone mentioned that these acceptors come pre programmed for the carwash already? It’s a Belanger saber

Are you using this entry system in conjunction with a “C” store? Are you using the key pad? What happened to the coin acceptor that was in the unit? I believe the problem is the coin pulse rate isn’t compatible with what the controller is looking for in that entry system. What you could do is call Micah at Magikist https://www.magikist.com/ and ask him if he knows what the coin pulse rate is for that antique entry system. The icoin coin acceptor comes programmed for Canadian coins from the factory.

Not sure what you mean by a C store, the keypad works but you don’t need to do anything with it to change or initiate the wash. There is suppose to be only 1 wash option and that’s with the under carriage and dryer. The coin acceptor was working until the customer started messin around with the buttons on it and called me to go look at it. I found the manual and followed the steps on the tokens. I think your right something was reset or something and the pulse rate isn’t working with the controller anymore.. no idea where to look at from here , still trying to learn this system

" C store" convenience store, gas station. Why did a customer start mess'n with the buttons? I take it you don't own this car wash.

No, I don’t own it, he thought there was an issue with the coin acceptor not accepting his tokens, but it was a carriage fault , which timed out the wash not allowing the next person to put in tokens until the system was reset from the saber program on the iPad.

it is just a carwash only
