Coin Counter/sorter

I have the one that is now sold as Coinmate. I bought it in 2007. It is still running strong. I got it and a bill counter for $500 on ebay including shipping. Both work well. I did have to clean the coinmate once though. LOL.

I bought the Coinmate too. Mine is the CS-2000 sold on Ebay for $339. Works great. I've found the preformed coin tubes works best, but the flat ones do work. Just a little more finicky.

I bought one like MEP linked to on Craigslist for $200 a few months ago. Just created an RSS feed and kept an eye on the local craigslist cities for a few weeks.

I like it. It counts, batches, etc. and from what I can tell all I will need to replace in the future is a couple of drive belts.

I need a new coin sorting machine, my 10 year old ScanCoin 303 is just about worn out. I was checking prices online and found the following machines that all look very similar to the 303 but at a much lower price. Anyone have an opinion on the following machines:

Eric,

If you can get a good deal on a Cummins 2000, we have had great results for almost 10 years now. If I remember right, Kevin Reilly's operation has also had great results with that specific model. It seems like it is faster & more heavy duty, maintenance free ... built for higher volume usage that full service banks would tend to see ... than some of the others listed.

I know of a very large local amusement company with many employees who went with just using precise scales ... which makes sense with single coin or if a cheaper practical super fast sort only preprocess is done. I know of a very experienced & successful laundromat owner who gives out & accepts dollar coins only ... with good results for over 5 years now.
