Hope you guys had a good car wash winter season. Here in the Midwest it was a solid winter no doubt. The snow has siphoned off so I am looking to Spring car wash programs, which leads me to tire shine.

I see that Crown Car Wash Equipment has a coin operated tire machine. Has anybody seen one work or try it? Any feedback?
Also, are there any others out there to look at?

Thanks,
Wood

Based in Europe the markets are different but paying for air has become the norm now. These units are really busy, especially when coupled with screen wash. Get retractable hoses though and a digital pressure display. Also make sure the tyre inflator has to be held on and not clipped on. Clip on inflators get left on and the machine gets damaged when the customer drives off!

We do use a retractable reel for our coin op air. We made sure it was one that did not jerk back too fast. It cost more initially but long term wise it has been proving to be a good choice. It is a top of the line 100' CoxReel that reels up behind a wall on a Vac-air combo located next to our laundromat back room wall.
