Compatable POS Systems

I am in the process of buying a wash and the wash currently has the ICS tunnel master POS system . I was thinking of switching over to Sonnys . But my question is this . I want to keep the costs down obviously . And if i switch over to Sonnys POS System i would like to keep the current pre wash sale station that creates the receipt to bring to the cashier since thats a pretty basic system . So i was wondering if anyone knew if the 2 systems would be compatable for that or would i have to replace the pre sale station too ? Also from doing research and being a hand wash the sonnys system looks like the best bang for your buck to me . Anyone have any others they like or comments on POS systems alone ? Looking for feedback . Thanks guys ....
 
Actually now i hear that he may have sci lube as his pos system . The owner is on vacation i am hearing this from the employees and manager . Is anybody familiar with this system ?

Yes, if the current POS system works and it has a print station so receipts can be brought to the cashier, what is reason(s) to switch POS systems?
