I have been experiencing a bunch of customers who now just insert their credit card into the reader and leave it there because of the whole chip transition for credit cards these days even though the paystation prompts them to "please remove card" they can't figure it out and then they get all pi$$y.

I’ve added a decal at the card reader. “Insert and quickly remove card “. For now I’ve done this with my dymo labeler....I’ve added it to my list for next time I have signs run

I wonder if these people can get a gas pump started.

The ironic thing is these are some my regular customers I've know for years it's like they've been brainwashed (pun intended).

I have a lot of customers that think my IBA is going to pull them through it on a conveyor... lol.

We have seen a few of those. They pull up to the entrance after paying and sit there. I guess they couldn't see the bright blinking sign that states "Drive forward".

Hard to get them to look at signs when they are looking at phone!! Maybe a loud horn or buzzer?

A lot of people are confused about what type of wash they are at, express or IBA, Neutral or Park. At one time I was not afraid to drive on the hwy, then we purchased a carwash.

Back to the card issue, we have the same problems at our pay stations. I don't think signs will help!
