I have been using a Klopp electric coin counter for 25 years, the same one, it counts wet coins faster than dry, I use a spray bottle with just water in it to wet the coins lightly when I use it, I have sent it back to Klopp twice since I have owned it, not because it was not working but just for regular service, and they always mention that I am counting allot of wet coins, I know that because I wet them down LOL, they say that the manual one, not the electric is designed for wet coins, but the electric one works better when the coins are wet.
