6 bay SS w/laundromat
I remember one time visiting with a rental shop guy. He explained to me that when a rental item or equipment comes back from the rental customer requiring more than normal clean up etc ... he does not argue with the "less desirable customer" ... he just charges the extra cost to the customer's credit card.
Has any of us operators done or been tempted to just put an extra charge to the card on some of our customers who via credit card timestamp & camera together we can prove the identity 100%. For example ... a mudder who left so much mud that the bay was forced into downtime ... nobody behind him would enter!
Maybe some fine print stipulation in the bay might be required by the credit card company ... I am not sure?
I realize the customer might be lost for good but those tend to be sometimes ones that are less desirable anyway displacing better more worthy customers!
