Credit/Debit Card Charges by the Providers

Hi all, Happy New Year! My Credit/Debit Card providers who are Monaris/E-xact and Global Pay charge me up to 6%. What's your experience? I think we are better off sticking to coin.

I just left Global Pay/TSYS
They have jacked rates all year.

Customer service told me back in November that more increases to come.

Do you know what your avg ticket is?

I'm running 4.1 percent with an $11 avg ticket.

One location avg ticket $13.67, rate at 3.10% on $27083 in sales. My other location avg ticket is $11.44, rate at 3.44% on $5277 in sales. ( just the most recent months statement) It does flutuate just a little month to month.

This is important when comparing rates. If you are SS only your average ticket is lower than someone with SS and IBA and your % will be higher. With SS and Vac only - no IBA my Cryptopay "All IN" was 5-5% .

Yes, agree. To clarify, I edited my original as the lowest I have seen is 3.1 and the highest at 3.5%. But I am running only automatics and a single Hamilton changer set for a single swipe for $10 in tokens; at each location. The higher avg ticket at the busier location certainly yields the lower rate.

I do not have Crypto on the vacs or in the bays.
