Cryptopay (Worldpay ) Gift cards and Apple Wallet help.

We recently switched our WSII’s over to Cryptopay and have been very happy with the experience minus one issue. We purchased gift cards from Worldpay and are having an issue with the cards not being able to be loaded into your Apple wallet. When you register your gift card on Worldpays website and click their button to ‘add to Apple Wallet’ you’re met with an error screen. I have been trying to resolve this with Worldpay for over ten days now. One tech I spoke with wasn’t even aware this was option. Trying to find someone competent to talk to is infuriating. Even Holly, the gift card salesperson is unhelpful.

Has anyone that has bought these been able to get that feature to work? I’m trying to figure out if it’s something specific to my account or if they are simply marketing something that doesn’t work.

The roll-out of the gift cards have been a cluster-you-know what from Worldpay. Here's a thread about it:

At the show in Nashville we talked to a couple of Worldpay reps at the Cryptopay booth. They said they just rolled out Cryptopay gift/loyalty cards after testing them for months. I can't remember for sure but it seems like they were about $1.70~ish each if you bought only 100 and they went down...

Thanks for refreshing that thread. After reading the whole thing I remember reading it last year.

Right after posting this thread I sent an email to Cryptopay explaining my Issue. Hopefully they’ll follow up. I also blew up my Worldpay card salesperson as she said she wasn’t sure if the feature worked to which I asked ‘how can you sell and promote something that doesn’t work?’ If they can’t get it to work I told her I want my money back. I’ve about had it with companies that just don’t give a f*@k.

I did finally get this resolved. I never did get to talk to anyone on the phone regarding it but went back and forth via email. The reloading feature that earns you cash back now actually works. So if a customer were to add $100 to their gift card an extra 10% is added.
The Apple wallet is a bit misleading. Maybe they didn’t explain it well to me or maybe I simply had a preconceived idea as to how it would work. The app button did not work and would give you an error message like I stated. They were able to get that fixed and you can now add the storecard to your wallet, BUT, all it really does is add a QR code for the card into the wallet. So if you have a wash that has an optical reader it would be great. My understanding was that you would be able to use your Apple wallet storecard with the cryptopay tap and pay which unfortunately is not how that works.
