Had a fast talking jerk call me and said he had a bad experience at the wash. Automatically said I would refund and settle his claim. Thought about it and called him back. Called him back and called him a liar and thief. He got all upset till I said let’s call the police. End of conversation

It's great to have video. Customer claims we broke wiper .See him getting out of car with wiper in hand after he exited tunnel. Another Guy says we took rear spoiler off 2014 BMW. Send him a letter , saying Sir, we are not responsible for non original equipment and that year / model did not come with a rear spoiler. We are also not responsible for loose items and a spoiler won't come off unless it's loose. We re also not responsible for anything on a car over 10 years old, and finally here is a photo of your car entering the tunnel nd it did not have a spoiler when it entered.

It is kinda fun to catch these jerks. Like turning on a light and see the cockroaches looking for a place to hide.

It's a shame, but you have to have cameras these days. I've had a few crazy complaints. One recent said my auto wash damaged the wheels on his 2020 honda. I told him it's a touch free wash, no possible way it damaged his car. He had his insurance company contact me, I sent the video of him going into and out of the wash with no incident. End of that one. I had another tell me my wash ripped their antenna off the car. I asked if it was the top brush or the side brushes. They said the top brush. I said, that's pretty much impossible, as my touch free wash has no brushes.

I have had lots of a variety of incidents over the years of the bad person responding "go ahead call the police" ... then they try to wait until the police are on their way ... then he or she leaves (no show) ... making me look less than perfect with the PD &/or the dispatcher. Other times when police come they become totally unglued ... with a few instances where they screamed in my direction that they will come back to "kill me" ... with could be helpful to have at least one if not two officers witness to their threat!

I worked @ 1 of my washes on my days off ( coach & teacher). TWO cousins tried to say our Razor damged their cars, where they had clearly backed into something. Wanted replacement bumpers & painted. Ha
Told em leave, & can't come back til they make complimentary Facebook posts!
