Hello all,

Just want to share my negative experience in dealing with this company. I bought a refurbed vending maching (and would arrive like new) in December of 2012. Was told I could have the machine within 2 weeks or so. Turns out it was close to 2 months .
The machine came in with some cosmetic damage on the plexiglass and I let them know the day it arrived. I thought I could clean it off so I wasnt to concerned with it at the time, I was just happy I finally got the machine and installed at that point. After a couple weeks went by I finally got the chance to address the marring on the plexiglass and I couldnt get it cleaned so I called back and requested some new panels. I emailed them pictures of the damage and they told me they would make it right. After a few weeks went by I hadnt heard from them so i called them back. They were very evasive and at that point still commited to fising the issue. Since then They then became unresponsive to any emails or phone calls and certainly havnt stood up to resolve the issue. I can get some plexiglass cut locally to fix the problem but im extremely concerned about their lack of response and costomer service. At this point I cannot recommend this company to anyone trying to source a vending machine.

Has anyone else experienced any problems with this company?

The last few years have been a disaster in terms of carwash equipment spending taking out certain suppliers and dealers and crippling some others. Certain active suppliers no longer advertise much if at all in the remaining trade journals.

Firms that over-leveraged position in market are more likely unable or unwilling to make good on value proposition – promise to customers – as in struggling to survive.

Although still possible, the environment is less conducive to hand-shake deals – this means written agreement, fully documented.

Even then, there is usually little or no benefit/cost of litigating over a low-cost item like refurbished vending machine.

Sometimes it just easier and less frustrating to simply bite the bullet, write it off to experience and move on.

Suppliers and dealers are hungry. Shop around until you find someone who you can become comfortable with.

Survend came highly recommended through this forum. It is a minor issue dollar wise and thats why I cant understand the lack service on their part. It wasnt easy for me to post anything negative about any person or company but as a member of this forum I felt obligated to share my experience considering they did come so highly recommended. I assure anyone reading this I gave them several opportunities to correct the problem.

Take it as you would like but I expect more from people I do business with.

I know it's not helpful to your customer service issue, but try Blue Magic metal polish on the Lexan before you replace it. If the damage is enough that you can feel it, you might have to sand it first. I routinely sand and polish scratches out of displays around the wash.

Plexiglass

Hey, Thanks for the info. Ill try that. The marring is about the size of a softball and its between the plexiglass/Lexan. There are no scratches but its on both pieces. It seems like something got stuck between the two pieces and Im a little surprised they went ahead and shipped it that way because you cant help but see it.

I thought about using headlight restore compound. What do you think?

Thanks for reply.

There's probably no way to tell for sure until you take it apart. The headlight polishing kits are basically the same thing as buying sandpaper and compound unless you get the kind with a drill attachment to make the work easier.
