D/H Controller

My bays use a D/H 8 option controller. I want to add triple foam and possibly one other option. I am just curious if it is possible to modify the controller to do this. If it can be done, what is the best way to get it done? I know this is about as big a noob question as you can get, but I need some direction.

Thanks!

What functions do you currently have? If you do not have any extra room for additional functions, you could replace the eight position with a ten position rotary switch.

That is kind of what my question is. Is it just as simple as putting in a new switch with more options or do I need to modify my controller? I have room for one more option (I can combine tire cleaner with the engine cleaner), but I would like to have the option to expand past that.

Is it a push-button controller or a rotary switch? You can't add more functions beyond the number of buttons you have now, but if you have an 8-position switch it's just a matter of replacing the switch and decal.

I have some bays with 12 position rotary switches. One thing you may run into is that you may need to run more wires to your meter boxes.

So I don't need to run those options through my controller, just straight to the meter box? This is where I am confused.

I don't have any problems running more wires.

I currently have push button, but I am getting new boxes from Etowah Valley that will have 10 position rotary.

Thanks for the help!

The controller's main function is to delay the motor start/stop. Those wires can remain hooked to it, but nothing else extra needs to go through it.

That would be great then. I just have to run wires to the meterbox from wherever the controller is for my new option? Do I have it about right?

You don't need the controller in play at all. Just go straight from the rotary switch to the new feature.
