had a weird one this weekend. D&S 5000 wouldn't start for customer. got there and put in manual bypass, gantry ran toward the exit. Checked some voltages from the front and back eyes, both leds on prog. controller glowing but dimm. Turned back to manual override, all OK, go out and move gantry as normal. decided to check a few things. tightend terminal screw in control cabinet. all seemed OK, about to leave and gantry runs toward exit again. We re wired the gantry about 3 months ago and has been working well, but double checked the WEGO connectors for the rear eye. Did not change any wires. So now one led is on and one LED is off on PLC. The front and rear are acting opposite. one on when covered, one off when covered. I couldn't figure out the wiring to change the eye, and didn't think I should since it worked fine for 3 months or more as it was wired. Anyway I replaced the reciever with a spare off an old gantry I have and everything is working as it was wired all along. Apparently the reciever can change itself from working one way to the other without warning.... Did I miss something?
