Dilling-Harris Coin Box problem

I have Dilling-Harris coin boxes with the Hamilton DAN Credit Card System. When a customer swipes their credit card the Hamilton timer turns on and starts counting up properly. But then the keypad with the bay functions will not operate. The customer stops the bay timer by pushing the big RED BUTTON to stop the credit card charge. You can then go and put currency or tokens in the bay and the bay function keypad works fine. Anyone ever heard or had this problem?

I had this problem with a different cc system found that the cc system was not pulsing the timmer so the equipment would not turn on, but if you hit the cc end button you could start the bay with coin, or if you put coin in when the cc system was running the bay would start like it should.
