I am opening a dog wash next week and I want to give dog washes away for a few days to kick start the business. Does anyone know if a Mars Bill acceptor can be configured to accept token notes? If so, what models? Any other input about kick starting a dog wash is welcomed!

The Mars coupons are a great promotional tool with one big problem - they are expensive!

Maybe for a short promotion like this you can use the sample pack - 500 for $.48 each. But they won't say dogwash, or have the name of the wash on them.

You can actually buy custom tokens which have a much longer life for less money.

I recommend VanBrook as well. The only company I have used and they have never given me any reason to shop around.

SW Indiana melon fields.
I read that Virgil Vance passed away a few months ago. I really enjoyed talking to that guy. I hope the new owners are trying to continue with his ways.

Vanbrook still operates as a sales office for Osbourne Coinage. I have ordered tokens twice since they sold and still get the same experience.

I really enjoyed talking to Virgil as well, he was a neat guy. I always had to make sure I had plenty of time before I called him. I recently dealt with Vanbrook and it seems that they are continuing to run the business the way he did.
